Session will serve to introduce the "print machine”, flexographic printing directly onto corrugated substrates, system components, and the elements running control targets. Review of press functions to refresh all on feed/register, plates/parts and functions, impression and drying/curing provisions. This leads into understanding that each machine must be treated as a "one-of-a-kind" and thus characterized for all images, line and screen.
Colleen Larkin Twomey

With thirty years in the printing and graphic communications space, Colleen Larkin Twomey has developed a wide range of experience and expertise—working both in the industry and in the classroom. Currently a professor of Graphic Communication, she teaches courses such as Flexographic Printing, Consumer Packaging, and Digital File Preparation and Workflow. Prior to joining academia, she was a fixture in the industry, serving more than twenty years at MacDermid Printing Solutions.

As Director of Manufacturing Training, John Keuning has a passion to put his 30 years of manufacturing and leadership experience to work for companies by providing both classroom training, virtual training, and on-site consulting. His goal is to help develop better leaders, engage workers, lower cost of goods, and increase profits for companies by arming teams with the tools necessary to be great agents of change. John's favorite place to be is on the plant floor working side-by-side with teams and leaders to find solutions to manufacturing questions. He has extensive experience in Lean manufacturing theory and implementation as well as helping new and advancing leaders understand the day-to-day work of being a leader. John has served multiple industries as a supervisor, Lean leader, product launch leader, production manager, plant manager, and director of manufacturing.

Deirdre Lloyd
Global Human Resources Business Partner, SPHR, MBA

Deirdre is a passionate Human Resources professional with broad experience in talent management, compensation, recruiting and business partner roles. Currently, she is the Global HR Business Partner at DuPont's Diversified Industrials businesses. Before joining DuPont, Deirdre held leadership positions at AmerisourceBergen, Prudential Financial, and Church & Dwight, where she led the talent strategy across commercial teams and corporate functions. She began her career at JPMorgan in various finance roles including Internal Audit and Credit Research. Deirdre is passionate about building inclusive, high-performing cultures and equipping leaders to thrive in complexity. She holds an MBA in Finance from Fordham University and a BS from the University of Scranton. Deirdre obtained her SPHR and she is a certified Marshall Goldsmith Stakeholder Centered Coach. She is excited to share valuable insights and practical tips on recruiting best practices that can help organizations attract and keep top talent.
